National Service Scheme
NSS in our institution develops the personality of students through community services. Having four NSS units in our Campus, it is proactive to the student fraternity both inside the Campus and in the adopted Villages. It has been effectively programmed by the following NSS Programme Officers through regular activities and Special Camps every year.

The main objectives of the National Service Scheme (NSS) are:
- Vouches better understanding of the fellow beings in the voluntary activities.
- Proactive to the community for which they work.
- Understand themselves in relation to their community.
- Identify the needs and problems of the community to raise awareness in the society.
- Accept the Phenomenal changes in the environment and acquire problem-solving skills.
- Develop the sense of social and civic responsibilities.
- Utilize the socially acquired skills to provide solution to the self and the community.
- Develop competency for group-living and sharing responsibilities.
- Gain skills to mobilise and enhance community participation.
- Acquire leadership qualities and exhibit democratic attitudes.
- Equip oneself to escape the emergencies and natural disasters.
- Practice National integration and observe social harmony.
It is a proactive platform in which students undertake need-based programmes like mass immunization programmes, Awareness Rallies, sanitation drives, adult education to weaker sections of the community, blood donation, helping the underprivileged people and patients in hospitals, helping inmates of orphanages, and supporting the differently abled and other pertinent issues by planning several informal gatherings, lectures, and sessions, in the adopted villages, College campus, urban slums during weekends and after college hours.
