I am greatly honoured and rejoiced to address you all as the Principal of this esteemed and legendary institution run by the Government of Tamilnadu, since 1966. Our college has the privilege of having a healthy and amicable ambience which has played a vital role in illuminating the future of multitudinous rural students. The students get equipped, trained and learn rich values to become rational thinkers, competent workers, law abiding citizens and civilized individuals. Apart from classroom teaching, the college provides facilities like soft skills training programme, seminars, workshops, career counselling, extracurricular and extensive activities like NSS, NCC and competitive exam coaching for pupil’s all round development. The competitive exam coaching helps the aspiring students who hail from poor community to serve in various Government services. Located in the “ Garment Hub of India” the students from various districts of Tamilnadu enter this college with high ambition and dreams to establish themselves as accomplished entrepreneurs. The students actively take part in sports representing the college at state and national level. Thus the college focuses to mould our students to be self confident and pragmatic so that they exhibit exemplary behaviour in society too.
